A poorly collected species known only at and near Yorkrakine and near South Kumminin, c. 120 km SE of Yorkrakine in south-western W.A.
Shrub (?). Branchlets strongly sulcate, villous-tomentose. Stipules persistent, caudate-subulate, 3–4 mm long, tomentose. Phyllodes patent to inclined, narrowly linear to oblanceolate-linear or elliptic-linear, ±incurved, 3.5–5.5 cm long, 2–3.5 mm wide, acute, mucronate early, coriaceous, villous-tomentose at first, ±glabrescent, with 6 raised distant nerves, of which 3 or 4 are more strongly raised; gland 1, 1–3.5 mm above base. Inflorescences simple, 2 per axil; peduncles absent or very short, tomentose; 4 bract-like bracteoles at base of head; heads globular, 5 mm diam., 17- or 18-flowered. Flowers 5-merous; sepals 1/2–2/3-united; petals puberulous. Pods flexuose-linear, ±20 mm long, 2 mm wide, coriaceous, villous-tomentose. Seeds longitudinal, oval to elliptic, 1.5–2 mm long, glossy, tan; aril apical.
W.A.: E of South Kumminin, C.A.Gardner 9485 (NSW, PERTH).
Most similar to A. caesariata which has broader phyllodes, pedunculate heads and glabrous petals.
