Distribution

Occurs in the Mingenew-Three Springs area.

Description

Phyllodes filiform, slender (0.5–0.6 mm diam.), soft, flexible; nerves 0.2 mm wide. Spikes paired within phyllode axils, rarely single. Seeds pale brown mottled yellow.

Habitat

Grows in sand.

Specimens

W.A.: near Mingenew, R.Coveny 3079 (NSW, PERTH); loc. not cited, L.Diels 4270 (PERTH, fragment ex B); 13 km W of Three Springs, 28 Aug. 1972, C.Chapman s.n. (PERTH).

Notes

Superficially similar to A. coolgardiensis which is recognised by shorter spikes, 5-merous flowers and terete pods.
