Antennal pectination usually drops off rapidly towards the apex; pilifer bristles absent; forewing with distal area of R approximated to Sc, areole absent, CuA2 closer to discal cell base than start of M3, Rs1 and Rs2 stalked, M2 closer to M3 than to M1, CuA1 mostly distant from M3; CuA2 arising from basal half of discall cell, CuP sometimes presented as a strong, sclerotised fold (Common 1990, Kristensen 1999).
