Antennal scape slender and not covering eye, flagellomeres with single annulus of scales; haustellum more than 2.5x eye diameter; wings slender to lanceolate; hindwing index (W/L) 0.1-0.2, cilia longer than hindwing width (Common 1990, Kristensen 1999).
